Who We Are
The Newberry County Agricultural Expo is a nonprofit organization that helps bring knowledge, excitement, and tourism to our beautiful county around the agricultural heritage. The annual rodeo and expo events benefit the Newberry County Career Center Chapter of the Future Farmers of America, by giving a scholarship to a member who plans to continue their agricultural education. A scholarship will also be given to a local high school senior who plans to further their education at an institute of higher learning. The remaining proceeds will be given to other local organization that impact our community through agriculture and rural projects including local food banks.

For over 45 years, the South Carolina Rodeo Association has been the organization for students all over the state who want to participate in the sport of rodeo. The top four contestants in each event annually are eligible to represent our state at the National Finals Rodeo.
